Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) invites applications for the post of engineer trainee in the fields of:
- Mechanical Engg.(700 vacancies)
- Electrical Engg. (200 vacancies)
- Electronics Engg.(100 vacancies)
Educational qualifications: Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Indian University/ Institute in the disciplines of MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ ELECTRONICS with minimum 65 % or Equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all years/semesters.
Upper Age limit as on 1st August, 2011: 27 Years (Candidates born before 01/08/1984 are not eligible to apply); Note: 29 years for Post Graduates ( Full time regular ) in Engg. or Business Admn./ Management (Candidates born before 01/08/1982 are not eligible to apply).
Eligibility: All departmental candidates meeting the above job specifications are eligible to apply if they have served a minimum of one year service after training, if any, in the grade to which they have been recruited.
Note: There is no Upper age limit for Departmental Candidates; Departmental Candidates having a Bachelor's Degree / Equivalent in any branch of Engineering are eligible to apply and have the option of appearing for the written test in any of the disciplines advertised.
Selection process: This will consist of Written Test and Personal Interview. The Written Test papers will be objective type in nature and will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English.
Tentative date of Written Test: 18th September-2011 .
Note: Before joining, selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination by the Company's Authorised Medical Officer and the appointment will be subject to meeting the health standards prescribed by the Company.
