Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is a Navratna Central Public Sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is a reputed organization in the field of Aeronautics. The company has expertise in the design, manufacture, development, repair, overhaul and upgradation of varied aeronautical vehicles and equipment. These include helicopters, aero-engines, industrial & marine gas turbines as well as Avionics & Systems and structural components for satellites & launch vehicles. HAL invites applications from National citizens for the posts of Assistant Engineers (both civil and mechanical) and Assistant Welfare Officer.

1. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 5 posts (UR-3, OBC-1, SC-1)
Location: Hyderabad

Eligibility Requirements

• Graduates in the branches of Mechanical, Mechanical & Industrial Engg., Mechanical & Production Engineering with First Class Degree (60% Marks) as awarded by the University/Institute in respect of General/OBC candidates, Second Class (50% Marks) in respect of SC candidates from any recognized University/Institution.
  OR
• Engineering Degree in the disciplines of Mechanical, Mechanical & Industrial Engg., Mechanical & Production Enggineering with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/Years in respect of General & OBC candidates, 50% marks in respect of SC candidates.

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 2 posts (UR)
Location: Hyderabad and Kasaragod

Eligibility Requirements

• Graduates in the branches of Civil Engg. Construction, Structural Engineering with First Class Degree (60% Marks) as awarded by the University/Institute in respect of General/OBC candidates, Second Class (50% Marks) in respect of SC candidates from any recognized University/Institution.

• Engineering Degree in the disciplines of Civil Engg. Construction, Structural Engineering with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/Years in respect of General & OBC candidates, 50% marks in respect of SC candidates.

2013 HAL jobs for Welfare Officers
There are 2 posts (both UR).
Location: Hyderabad

Eligibility Requirements

• Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or in Law of any University with minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/Years.
• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma with minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/Years covering Labour Legislations with case law, Industrial relations, Personnel Management, Human Resource Management and other allied subjects with Labour Welfare as a Special subject, of not less than two years duration conducted by a University of the State of Andhra Pradesh or recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Adequate knowledge of Telugu Language.

Important Notes:
1. Candidates who have passed their final examination and obtained the prescribed percentage of marks as on 1st March 2013 need only apply.

2. There is a service agreement, wherein if you are selected for the post you will have to undergo a structured training for a period of 16 weeks. At the time of joining, you will be required toexecute a Bond to serve the Company for a period of two years as per Company Policy in vogue.

3. Your appointment would be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Company’s Doctor as per the medical standards of the Company & satisfactory medical report from the concerned Authority in respect of PWD candidates.

Selection Process
Objective type written test (at Hyderabad only) + Interview. The written test will he held on 28th April 2013 and interviews will be conducted on 30th April 2013. The list of shortlisted candidates who are eligible to appear for the written test will appear at the HAL website on 5th April 2013. Results of the written test will be declared on 28th April 2013.

For the interview, you will need to bring along certificates / Documents (original and attested photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Caste, Training, Disability (as applicable) and passport size photographs.

How to apply
1. You have to pay an application Fee of Rs. 400/- (non refundable). This should be sent in the form of crossed Demand draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank (preferably State Bank of India) in favour of “HAL, Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad. The Demand Draft should have been obtained between the period 26.02.2013 to 20.03.2013.

Note: Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD category are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

2. You must submit your application in the prescribed format in A4 size paper along with the relevant copies of certificates duly attested by Gazetted Officer with reference to Educational Qualification,
experience, caste and also latest passport size photographs with an Application fee of Rs. 400/- (Non-refundable) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of ‘HAL, Hyderabad’, payable at Hyderabad.
