Selection Process of BHEL engineer trainees through GATE-2012
1. All eligible candidates must appear for GATE-2012.
Candidates are advised to take the GATE-2012 exam under one of the following codes: Code: ME (for Mechanical & equivalent disciplines)
Code: EE (for Electrical & equivalent disciplines)
Code: EC (for Electronics & equivalent disciplines)

disciplines considered equivalent to each of the disciplines advertised is

3. After
getting the GATE Registration number, candidate must apply online for the
post of engineer trainne. This online application process will begin from
January 4th 2012, the link for submission of which will be
available on that date.
4. Details about GATE-2012 is available at GATE-2012 website
& at the websites of other IITs and IISC, Bangalore.

- Commencement of online application for GATE-2012: 12/09/2011
- Last date of online application for GATE-2012: 17/10/2011
- Downloading of admit card from GATE-2012 website: 02/01/2011
- Commencement of online Registration of application by candidates at BHEL website: 04/01/2012
- Last date for online registration of application by candidates at BHEL website: 28/01/2012
- GATE-2012 examination (offline): 12/02/2012
