Selection Process for NTPC recruitment of engineer trainees through GATE-2012

1. All eligible candidates must appear for GATE-2012.

2. Candidates will be short listed from Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on GATE-2012 scores & the requirement.

3. Details about eligibility criteria, compensation package, reservation, etc are available at NTPC website

4. Details about GATE-2012 is available at GATE-2012 website

& at the websites of other IITs and IISC, Bangalore.

5. After getting the GATE Registration number, candidate must apply online for the post of ET-2012. This online application process will begin from January 6^th 2012 at NTPC website

1. Commencement of online application for GATE-2012: 12/09/2011
2. Last date of online application for GATE-2012: 17/10/2011
3. Downloading of admit card from GATE-2012 website: 02/01/2011
4. Commencement of online Registration of application by candidates at NTPC  website: 06/01/2012
5. Last date for online registration of application by candidates: 26/01/2012
6. GATE-2012 examination (offline): 12/02/2012
